ASCS Red River Heads For Creek County Speedway and Super Bowl Speedway

TULSA, Okla. (April 4, 2016) Kicking off a full lineup of events in the month of April, the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Red River Region presented by Smiley's Racing Products will see action in the Sooner and Lone Star states this weekend with

stops at the Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Okla. on Friday, April 8 and the Super Bowl Speedway in Greenville, Texas on Saturday, April 9.

The first regional showing of the year at both facilities, the Creek County Speedway has seen a multitude of ASCS Regional events over the years with the former ASCS Sooner Region. In the Red River Region's most recent visit on July 17, 2015 the Friday night battle went to Broken Arrow's Alex Sewell. The Region's only other visit on April 10, 2015 went to Johnny Herrera.

Seeing the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Red River Region presented by Smiley's Racing Products for the first time this past season, Washington's Seth Bergman rode the top-side of the quarter-mile Super Bowl Speedway to victory on April 11, 2015.

While Wayne Johnson may have won the regional opener at the Devil's Bowl Speedway, the co-sanctioned event with the Lucas Oil ASCS presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network has put Chance Morton to the early points lead with Tommy Brant currently second. Danny Jennings, Caleb Martin, and Dale Wester make up the top-five in driver standings after one night of competition as Mother Nature has played havoc on the start of the 2016 lineup.

Friday, April 8 at the Creek County Speedway is "Light it up Blue for Autism Awareness" and will be an all open wheel spectacular with the Non-Wing Champ Sprints, and Driven Midwest NOW600 Outlaw Micros completing Friday's lineup. Gates open at 5:00 P.M. with racing at 8:00 P.M. (CT). Admission is $15 for adults with Kids 10-14 admitted for $10. Children 10 and under are free into the grandstands. Saturday, April 9 at the Super Bowl Speedway will see gates opening at 6:00 P.M. with racing at 8:00 P.M. (CT). The night's lineup with also include Factory Stocks, Jr. Limited Modifieds, Street Stocks, Limited Modifieds, and 305cid Bombers. The rejoining of the ASCS Sooner and Lone Star Regions, the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Red River Region presented by Smiley's Racing Products enters its second season of action across Oklahoma and Texas with events going out as far as Kansas and Missouri.
